The Yavapai Men's Soccer team is headed back to the playoffs, this time as a 3-seed! The Roughriders defeated the now 4-seed Eastern Arizona Gila Monsters in a heated 1-0 thriller.
The one goal scored in the game came from Jair Montoya, with a cross-field diving assist from Dante Espino-Kennedy!
Captains Cesar da Silva and Andres Pulido combined for 8 shots, while Espino-Kennedy had 5 by himself.
Goalie Daniel Alexis Medina Gonzalez played the whole 90 and had 3 saves, allowing zero goals!

Yavapai Men's Soccer is playoffs bound!! Because Yavapai defeated Eastern AZ in a tiebreaker game, Yavapai will now head to the 2-seeded Arizona Western College in Yuma, who are currently ranked #6 in the entire country. That game will take place at 7 PM on Tuesday, October 28th.
