Yavapai Softball Players earn ACCAC Postseason Awards
3 Yavapai Softball Players Recognized for 2026 Season
PRESCOTT, Ariz. (May 5, 2026)
The ACCAC has released the D1 Softball Postseason Awards for the 2026 season, and there were 3 Yavapai Softball Players nominated to the All-Conference teams!
The Yavapai Softball players who made the list are Georgia Wagner-Stiles, Danica Kern, and Tamryn Tucker!
Georgia Wagner-Stiles
Georgia was awarded the All-Region First Team Catcher in the Battery section! In her 51 games played, Wagner-Stiles had 63 hits, 28 RBI, and a Batting Average of .380. The Sophomore from Maple Ridge, along with having a great offensive season, proved that her strengths were seating behind the plate. Georgia caught 11 runners stealing, which ranks first out of all the ACCAC D1 softball players this season!
Danica Kern
Dani was awarded the All-Region First Team Designated Player! The Freshman from Flagstaff was a consistent offensive force who led her team in hits and batting average. Kern had 70 hits (8th in Conference), 26 RBI, and a Batting Average of .412, 14th in the conference. Kern also had the wind in her sails as she was able to steal 14 bases this season!
Tamryn Tucker
Tamryn was awarded a spot on the All-Region Second Team as an Infielder! Spending most of her time at Third Base, Tucker had a productive season on both sides of the game. She led her team in Home Runs (2), had 51 hits (14 XBH), and had a Batting Average of .364. Tucker's 36 RBI helped her team swing some games in huge moments. On the defensive side, Tucker had 3 Double Plays and 61 assists.
